Two-Sided Conversations

During the program you will listen to a one sided conversation where one person does all the work and a two sided conversation where both people work together to keep a conversation going. Read the first conversation and compare with the second conversation on the same topic. What is different? Which conversation is more interesting and why? Also try to guess the meaning of the words anxious, excited & gig and guess the meaning of the phrases word on the street, fill you in, & to look forward to (something).

By the end of this show you will be able to keep a conversation going by using conversation strategies.  You will also learn some slang vocabulary you can use in your conversations.
