Energi Mega Meets Targeted Production

VIVAnews - PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk (ENRG) has met the targeted 30 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day (mboepd) of oil and gas in 2009 by this year's first quarter.

The company is optimistic that it can boost its daily production to 75 thousand mboepd by 2010. "Between January and March 2009, daily production gained 20 percent compared to the first quarter of 2008," said Vice President of Investor Relations at Energi Mega Persada, Herwin Hidayat, on Tuesday, April 21.

Based on the calculation, Mega's daily production on the first quarter of 2009 reached 30.12 thousand mboepd compared to the previous period of 25.1 thousand mboepd.
