Indonesia Teams Up with Australia

VIVAnews - Security Affairs Assistant of the Indonesian Army Chief of Staff Major General Hendardi Soepandji officiated the Defence Intelligence Research Analysis Course (DIRAC) held at the Center for Training and Education of Commando Engineers of the Indonesian Army (Pusdikzi Kodiklat), Bogor on Tuesday, March 24.

It was a joint training in analyzing and conducting research on data and facts to acqure accurate and precise result.

DIRAC is held based on the cooperation between the Indonesian Army and the Australian Defence Intelligence Training Center under the supervision of the intelligence staff of the Indonesian Military headquarters.

This is the second event involving 40 intelligence officers from the intelligence unit of the Indonesian Army, similar to the first event.

Soepandji said that a professional analyst officer can improve the ability of the Indonesian Army Intelligence Unit, especially on research and analysis.

During the occasion, Soepandji hoped that the Australian Mobile Training Team at Defence Intelligence Training Center apart from DIRAC could provide a psychological course to the Indonesian Army's intelligence officers in the future.
