US$48 M Shipping Loan Approved

VIVAnews - PT Bank CIMB Niaga and PT Pengembangan Armada Niaga Nasional disbursed loans for shipping sector valuing US$48.46 million or around Rp 500 billion.

In the loan signing which was done during the National Shipping Industry Funding Opportunity Business World workshop held by Bank Indonesia, PT Bank CMB Niaga delivered a US$10 million loan to PT Wintermar.

The loan is going to fund one unit of 48 meter-long MPV utility vessel and one unit of AHT 5200 HP 50-meter-long vessel. The area manager of the Jakarta Business Dody Hasri and the managing director of Wintermar Sugiman Layanto signed the agreement.  

The second loan came from PT PANN which contributed a US$38.46 million loan. The funding was entrusted to three shipping companies, i.e. PT Putra Jaya Offshore, PT Samudera Rezeki Permata, and PT Artha Jaya Sejahtera.

PT Putra Jaya Offshore received US$14 million loan to fund an utility support vessel. PT Samudera Rezeki Permata took US$3.96 million to acquire two units of crew boat 24 pax. PT Artha Jaya Sejahtera obtained US$30.5 million to finance a general cargo 6500 DWT and a tanker boat.

The loan was signed by, namely PT PANN's operational director Hendro Wibowo, PT Putra Jaya Offshore's director Dadang Mulyana, Samudera Rezeki Permata's director Andi Kusumo Wibowo, and PT Artha Jaya Sejahtera's managing director Johny Simanjutak.
