High Capital Inflow Edges Up Index

VIVAnews - It is pointed out that the positive index at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) is due to the high capital inflow into the capital market following investors' optimism over the Indonesian economy. 

The index added 78.58 points (4.77 percent) to 1,722.77 on the second session of Thursday trading, April 30.

According to capital market analyst Ukie Jaya Mahendra, the average capital inflow reached (net buy) Rp 673 billion.

"Many big cap blue chips were sought after," Mahendra said.

Blue chips gaining increase include PT Astra Internasional Tbk (14,28 persen), PT United Tractors Tbk (13,20 persen), PT Gudang Garam Tbk (15,50 persen), PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (10,47 persen), and PT Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam Tbk (4,39 persen).
