VIVAnews - The government of Japan is intending to grant loans and makes a bilateral swap agreement with the Indonesian government.

According to Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati, it is the form of support from Japan for preventing Indonesia from seriously affected by the crisis. "Japan wants Indonesia to be far from being seriously affected by the crisis because it may bring negative sentiment to the region," Mulyani said on Monday, May 4.

"The program is aimed at every country in Asia. But Indonesia is the first receiver," said the minister.
