3 Indonesian Companies Win Asia Money Awards

VIVAnews - PT Ramayana Lestari Sentosa Tbk (RALS), PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (INTP) and PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR) were granted awards by Asia Money magazine in the December 2008-January 2009 edition.

Ramayana was awarded for small-sized enterprise category while Indocement won in the category of medium-sized enterprise. Meanwhile, Unilever was chosen as the best large-sized enterprise.

Unilever Indonesia CFO Graeme Pitkethly was also presented the Best Executive Award.

In addition, three investors of several public companies in Indonesia were also granted the award. They included Head Investor Relations and Corporate Secretary of PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) V. Suresh, Corporate Secretary of PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR) Sara Kristi Loebis, and Investor and Public Relations of PT Agra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI) Tjahyo Dwi Ariantono. They were awarded the Best Investor Relations Officer in Indonesia.

"It is impossible to achieve the award without the support and confidence that everyone has given me," Suresh sent his comment on the award to VIVAnews on Monday, Jan 19.

Meanwhile, Ariantono said that he only did what his company required. "I did my job seriously; for my job deals with many analysts and investors," he said.

The award will be officially presented on 26 February 2009 in Hong Kong during a show entitled the 2009 New Year Awards Dinner.
