92 Indonesian Islands May Be Gone

VIVAnews - Southeast Asian countries including Indonesia will suffer from the worst effect of global warming. The Asian Development Bank (ADB) reported on Monday, April 27, that Indonesia may lose 92 islands located at the outer Indonesian borders.

"Our prediction is that the sea level will increase by up to 70 centimeters," said an ADB's economic expert and report compiler, Juzhong Zhuang, as published in The New York Times' Website on Monday, April 27.

He also added that people should not underestimate the rise in sea level since the change will force millions of people to be relocated.

Jakarta will also have worst intrusion of salt water into the source of drinking water in the future.
