VIVAnews - The government announced eleven oil and gas companies outlined in a direct offer list for oil and gas working field period II 2009 with total investment valuing US$189 million.
The companies include PT Renco consortium, PT PROSYS OIL & Gas International which acquires the South Block A working field, PT Nana Yamano Tekhnik in East Pamai, Orchard Energi PTE Ltd consortium, and PT Banyu Energy Lestari at West Belida. PT Bama Bumi Sentosa and PT Toba Sejahtera consortium in South East Madura, PT Archipilago Resources in Pasir Block. Biak Petroleum LLC and Niko Resource (Overseas IX) Ltd consortium in Kofiau Block. Komodo Energy LLC Marathon Indonesia New Venture Ltd-Indonesia Kumawa Energy Ltd consortium in Kumawa and Sarmi Papua Blocks. Asia Oil Ltd in Northern Papua.
The other three companies which have been already known for their reputations are namely Biak Petroleum LLC and Esso Exploration International consortium in Cenderawasih Block, Australia Worldwide Exploration in Terumbu Block and Hess (Indonesia South Sesulu) in South Sesulu Block.
