During the court session chaired by Judge Haswandi, there were three defendants' seats, filled with Muhammad Hasan aka Fajar Taslim aka Omar, Ali Mashudi aka Zuber, and Wahyudi aka Yudi.

The trials of seven others have been postponed after they told the judge they had just received their indictments.

In the indictment that Totok Bambang recited, the defendants were charged under article 15 juncto article 6 attached in Governmental Regulation in Lieu of Law (Perpu) No. 1/2002 on Eradication of Terrorist Acts, which has been enacted as Law No. 15/2003.

The defendants were also charged under article 15 juncto article 7, article 15 juncto article 9, with death sentence as the maximum punishment. "There is no minimum sentence," said Bambang.

The three defendants proposed a demurrer, which will be presented in the next court on Tuesday, Jan 20.
