VIVAnews - PT Mitra Rajasa Tbk (MIRA) will take over 100 percent of share ownership in PT Realita Jaya Mandiri and PT Masindo Artha Resources. The transaction may value to US$40 million.
"The company and the seller will pin on an independent evaluator to measure the normalcy of the takeover transaction," said Mitra Rajasa Corporate Secretary, Imaculata TM Wattimena, on Thursday, March 19.
Wattimena said Realita Jaya Mandiri is a company which focuses on mining and has owned mining concession as well as runs its operation in an area of 1,598 hectares at Musi Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra.
Meanwhile, Mashindo Artha Resources is a mining concession holder for an area of 5,600 hectares and 4,400 hectares in Musi Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra.
"Coal reserves in the three areas are figured at more than 100 million tons," he said.
He went on to say that because of the material transaction value, Mitra Rajasa will hold an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders to ask for approval from share owners. The meeting will be organized after the independent evaluator provided the review.
