VIVAnews - PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (INTP)'s performance in 2008 fiscal year was quite sound. The reason for this was that the company gained profit of Rp 1.74 trillion (US$145.4 million), an increase by 78.09 percent compared to 2007 with Rp 980.10 billion (US$81.9 million).
According to its publicized financial report of 2008, Indocement also garnered increase in the company's income of 2008 reaching Rp 9.78 trillion (US$817.6 million) compared to the previous Rp 7.32 trillion (US$612.03 million) and gross profit which rose by 46 percent to Rp 4.02 trillion (US$336.1 trillion) compared to 2007 with Rp 2.76 trillion (US$230.7 million).
The company's business profit significantly increased to Rp 2.46 trillion (US$205.6 million) or a hike by 54.38 percent compared to the previous year with Rp 1.59 trillion (US$132.9 million).
In addition, net profit per share reaches Rp 474.16 compared to 2007 with Rp 266.24.
Meanwhile, total company's assets up until late 2008 reached Rp 11.29 trillion (US$943.5 million), an increase by 12.44 percent compared to 2007 with Rp 10.04 trillion (US$839.08 million).
