VIVAnews - The Indonesian Forum for Budget Transparency found that the supply in goods and services in the 2009 parliamentary Elections is corruption-alleged. The Forum will file a report on the allegation to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
The said corrupted supply included ballot box, polling partition, final legislator candidate list, ballots, ink, forms and campaigning fund. The supply required fund of around Rp 3.9 trillion.
Fitra Arif Nur Alam from the Forum said the specification of the ballot is suspected of being manipulated. The ballot, which should have been 80 grams in weight, was in fact only 60 grams. In addition, the ballot supply in Central Java is carried out through a subcontract. "According to the regulation, a subcontract is prohibited," he said.
Alam believed that the corruption occurred because the Elections Commission has weak and less-effective control.
Upon the finding, Alam and the Elections independent watch will report the case to the KPK.
