VIVAnews - The Vote Counting Center of the Elections Commission (KPU) will be closed today, Monday, April 20. In fact, the received votes are only 12 million out of the total 171 million.

The votes came from 66,947 voting spots. Meanwhile, the total number of voting spots reaches 519,000. "The commission's high officials are discussing matters on whether or not the counting spot will be closed today," KPU media consultant officer Prasetyo told VIVAnews on Monday, April 20.

In addition to discussing about the vote counting center, he also mentioned that the officials also talk about manual vote recapitulation at the commission's office.

Earlier,  KPU Head Abdul Hafiz Anshary said the vote counting center was only set up to meet the needs of public information. The KPU still relies on the manual counting.
