CPO Standard Pricing Rises to US$560

VIVAnews - The standard price of exported crude palm oil (CPO) exports is going to be revised by next May. The government has decided that the price would be US$560 per matrix ton, higher US$45 than April which is fixed at US$515 per matrix ton.

The new standard price for exported CPO which will be implemented in May 1 until May 31 is specified on the trade minister regulation No.15/M-DAG/PER/4/2009 on Standar Pricing for Certain Exported Goods signed on April 24, 2009.

The pricing quoted by VIVAnews from the Department of Trade's Webpage on Monday, April 27, refers to the CPO CIF Rotterdam standard price a month prior to the HPE pricing valuing US$634.01 per matrix ton.

In addition, the standard prices of exported CPO, oil-palm fruit and kernel are at US$221 per matrix ton, and US$658 per matrix ton for crude oil.
