Telkom to Take 3 Options for Expenditure

VIVAnews - PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk. (TLKM) may issue bond and propose banking loan as well as obtain vendor financing from China and the Japan Bank for International Cooperation to fund its 2009 capital expenditure (capex).

"We will delay obligations if [we] receive vendor financing from China or JBIC," said President Director of Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Rinaldi Firmansyah, at the interval of the 2009 Indonesia Capital Market Conference in Jakarta, April 27.

Firmansyah added that Telkom is attempting a negotiation with an integrated communication technology (ICT) and local support company to make acquisitions. "[We] haven't discussed about the acquisition value," he said.

Meanwhile, as for the planned bond distribution of the 2008 fiscal year, it would minimally be the same with the 2007 suggested percentage of 50 percent.
