VIVAnews - Coal bed methane (CBM) production will potentially add to the LNG production in Bontang refinery, East Kalimantan.
Director General of Oil and Gas at the Department of Energy, Evita Herawati Legowo, said on Tuesday, April 28, that within the next three years, domestic CBM supply will be acquired from Kalimantan and be distributed by PT Energi Pasir Hitam Indonesia (Ephindo).
In addition, the CBM will be put up by Virginia Indonesia Company (Vico). "We have only conducted a joint study with Vico," she said.
