Golkar Does Not Disappoint Democratic Party

VIVAnews - The Democratic Party stated that the party is not disappointed by Golkar Party for breaking the coalition. "Losing is certain. But there is no disappointment," said Head of Democratic Party's Central Board, Max Sopacua.

Sopacua said each party has its own options and strategies.

"However, the Democratic Party cannot yet comment on Golkar's decision," he said on Wednesday, April 22. "We will wait for Golkar's formal decision which will be announced during a Special Meeting of National Board tomorrow (23/4)," he said.

The Democratic Party will also hold a national meeting on April 25. "Whatever Golkar's decision is, the Democratic Party will discuss it during its national meeting," Sopacua said.

So far, the Democratic Party has set up meetings with Amien Rais of the National Mandate Party (PAN), the Justice and Prosperous Party (PKS) and other parties.
