VIVAnews - Donggi Senoro Liquid Natural Gas consortium is expecting a confirmation from buyers from Japan Chubu Electric and Kansai Corporation in line with the renewal agreement of gas purchase term from Donggi - Senoro field.
The consortium consists of PT Pertamina, PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk and Mitsubishi Corporation.
"We have requested a three-weak renewal to Chubu and Kansai. We are waiting for any confirmation," said Pertamina Deputy Director of LNG Business, Hari Karyuliarto on Thursday, April 2.
According to him, the consortium has sent a letter to the Japanese government concerning the renewal agreement. He estimated that Japan will soon reply the letter. "This is concerned with business. I am thus optimistic that they [Chubu and Kansai] will renew the contract," he said.
