VIVAnews - The delegation of the Indonesian Elections Commission (KPU) as well as Malaysian elections commission Suruhanjaya Pilihan Raya (SPR), are monitoring this year's Elections in some voting spots in the Indonesian capital of Jakarta. Their first destination is Cikeas voting spot, where President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono gives his vote.
Earlier, during a meeting between Indonesian and Malaysian Elections commissions, the team from Malaysia aims at observing how the Elections system in Indonesia is implemented, said Head of Malaysian SPR, Dato' Haji Wan Ahmad bin Wan Omar.
"Indonesia already has quite sound Elections system," said Wan Ahmad. "Several days before the Elections is held, the situation is back to normal. There were no more campaigns," he said. Wan Ahmad said it is totally different from the condition in his country. In Malaysia, prior to the Elections, there are still campaigns. "I praise the implementation of the Elections in Indonesia. The regulation is well-enacted," he said.
During the meeting, the Malaysian Elections commission is showed Elections ballot used in today's Indonesian Elections.
