VIVAnews - The meeting between Chairperson of the People's Conscience Party (Hanura) Wiranto and Head of the Great Indonesian Movement (Gerindra) Party's Board of Trustees Prabowo Subianto resulted in a decision to form an investigation team to look into alleged violations committed during the parliamentary Elections.
"We will set up a joint investigation," said Wiranto on Monday, April 13.
The investigation team will also collaborate with a legal institution and joint secretariat. The main task is to investigate any alleged violations during the parliamentary Elections.
"We do not have any doubt to file the case to the court. We will not let anyone violate the law. We will launch an action to reveal the truth," said Wiranto.
The establishment of the joint secretariat comprises other political parties in addition to Hanura and Gerindra. "23 other parties are also joining," he said.
Prior to meeting Wiranto, Subianto had also met with Chairperson of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri.
