VIVAnews - It is pointed out that the betterment of the agricultural sector concerning mainly with food plant, livestock farming, and logistics may bring back the Indonesian economy on track.
Chairperson of the Indonesian Employer Association (Apindo), Sofjan Wanandi, said more Indonesian people are into agricultural sector so that food supply is guaranteed. "The agricultural sector especially food plant, livestock farming, and logistics, will survive and boost the economy during the crisis," he said in Jakarta on Friday, Feb. 27.
As for fiscal stimulation, he said that it will improve the economy. However, Wanandi predicted that there will be ambivalent technical implementation. "The direct impact will not affect sooner. It will need more time," he said.
Meanwhile, Wanandi said that the property sector has received a severe blow from the economic crisis. The difficulty in getting general credit, including property credit, becomes a dire problem. "So, the stimulation is expected to improve the affected sector," he added.
