VIVAnews - National Coordinating Meeting of Integrated Law Enforcement Center agreed to bring forth principles of work effectiveness: quick, accurate and productive.
"The indicator of productivity is that at the very least 10 cases are reviewed by provincial supervisors," said Head of Elections Monitoring Agency, Nur Hidayat Sardini, on Wednesday, Feb 11.
The agency will supervise provincial supervisors to meet the target during the Elections. According to Sardini unproductive regions will be summoned. If a region does not handle any cases, the performance of the supervisors must be queried.
According to Sardini, 16 members of the monitoring agency have been dismissed. There were indications that some of them have been members of political parties, some were involved in conflict of interest, resigned from the agency, or had poor performance.
The 10-case target was responded differently by some provincial supervisors. Head of Monitoring Committee in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam, Nyak Arief Fadilah Syah, evaluated that the target served as a stimulation for the monitoring committee to be able to work well.
Member of North Maluku Monitoring Committee, Abdul Kahar, saw the target as burdening. "It cannot be targeted as such. If there is a case [it will be handled]," he said.
Triyono, member of West Papua Monitoring Committee, said many cases being handled achieved nothing. "Many cases are not considered solved because the supervisors choose to prevent [the cases from occurring]. Prevention is better," he said.
