VIVAnews - The increase in the shares belonging to Bakrie group caused the index at the IDX to rise sharply.
The index gains 48.27 points (3.02 percent) on Wednesday closing transaction, April 29 to 1,644.18.
The improved shares belonging to Bakrie group include PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk (4.68 percent), PT Bakrie Telecom Tbk (11.95 percent)and PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk (10.25 percent).
Stock market analyst Willy Sanjaya said that the increase triggered by the investors' anticipation toward the restructuring process of Bakrie & Brothers' debt.
"If the debt restructuring goes well, investors' confidence will return," he told VIVAnews.
