VIVAnews - The Elections Monitoring Agency (Bawaslu) received at least 758 cases of violations against the parliamentary Elections. Most reports came from Lampung, a region in Sumatra, with 112 cases filed.
"The violations were mostly concerned with administrative ones," said a Bawaslu member Wahidah Suaib on Sunday, April 12.
The number of administrative violations reached 496; criminal violations, 96 cases; and other cases reached 166.
Administrative violations included misplaced ballots, unregistered voters and unsealed ballots. The criminal violations were among any others money politics or double ballot markings by voters. Quarrels and anarchic actions were categorized other violations.
In Lampung, administrative violations reached 79 cases and other violations reached 18 cases. Southeast Sulawesi was the province committing most violations with 68 cases.
Central Java was on top 2 list with 62 cases: administrative cases, 51; criminal cases, 6; and other cases, 11.
