VIVAnews - PT Apexindo Pratama Duta Tbk (APEX) proposed to buy public shares at Rp 2,875 per share. It is in line with the company's plan to delist from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) due to the chain listing regulation.
PT e-Capital Securities will be the standby buyer. The delisting plan has been approved by share owners.
Deputy President Director of Apexindo Pratama Duta, Tito Sulistio, said the offered price was higher than the highest price of the company's share price within the last two years of Rp 2,750.
In addition, the company's offer was 30 percent higher than the normal price proposed by independent evaluator, PT Zodiac Perintis Penilai, of between Rp 2,200 and Rp Rp 2,600 per share. The price was five times higher than the share nominal price of Rp 500 per share.
Around 99.75 percent of share owners agreed with the price," said Sulistio after attending the company's general meeting of shareholders on Thursday, March 5.
Sulistio went on to say that in addition to delisting, Apexindo will still be a public company. Delisting is a call from the stock authorities due to teh fact that Apexindo contributed more than 90 percent income to PT Mitra Rajasa Tbk (MIRA) after the acquisition carried out on the third quarter of 2008.
He said public shares in Apexindo are only 0.7 percent of total company's shares reaching 2,659,299,500. The remaining shares are owned by Apexindo's directors (1.8 percent) and Mitra Rajasa (98.14 percent).
"The public possessing Apexindo shares is less than 80 parties," he said.
Apexindo Pratama Duta Corporate Secretary, Ade Satari, said the delisting will be put forward after the IDX granted an official approval.
Moreover, Satari stated that the company will delay any plan on expansion this year, concerning especially with setting up additional oil rig.
Meanwhile, as for Yani rig, Apexindo has not yet gained certainty on the contract renewal from PT Total Indonesie. However, the company is optimistic that the contract will be renewed.
