VIVAnews - The Indonesia Employer Association (Apindo) viewed that the Rp 71 trillion (US$6.64 billion) fiscal stimulus realization is postponed by the general elections.
"The campaigning period has become a real dilemma for the government," said Apindo Chairperson Sofjan Wanandi during a press conference in the Department of Manpower in Jakarta on Tuesday, April 21.
According to Wanandi, the elections, either the legislative or presidential, will delay the stimulus realization. "The bureaucracy is there. But the leader who should arrange for the stimulus is not yet available," he said.
Wanandi thought that either the president or vice president must take an action because their ministers are quite difficult to be found in their offices since they are busy preparing the elections.
