VIVAnews - Corruption Eradication Commission launched the result of public integrity survey. Gorontalo is viewed as a city having the highest anti-corruption value of integrity.
The survey was announced by Deputy Head of Prevention Division at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), M. Jasin, on Wednesday, Feb 4.
The survey was conducted between June and September 2008 on 105 units of services in 40 central departments and 52 cities and regencies with 9,390 respondents; consisting of 3,150 respondents in central departments and 6,240 respondents in regencies or municipalities. The respondents are users of public services.
The ten cities having the highest anti-corruption value of integrity are: Gorontalo, Magelang, Balikpapan, Jembrana, Yogyakarta, North Barito, Kudus, Kapuas, Barito Kuala and Probolinggo.
Meanwhile, 15 regencies or municipalities having the lowest value of integrity are: Tanjung Pinang, Bandung Municipality, Sumenep, Bandung Regency, Pontianak, Sambas, Palangkaraya, Serang, Kutai Kartanegara, Malang, Kota Baru, Banjarmasin, Tangerang, Hulu Sungai Tengah and Jakarta.
Specifically, there are 12 municipalities and regencies whose samplings on units of services are below average. The regions include Bandung Municipality, Tangerang, Malang, Pontianak, Tanjung Pinang, Palangkaraya, Manado, Bandung Regency and Kutai Kartanegara.
